Cameron Highlands Attractions - Cactus Valley

Cactus Valley is one of the biggest and most popular tourist destination located at the cool mountains of Brinchang, Cameron Highlands. It is quite easy to spot with its mock giant cactus replica at its entrance. The Cactus Valley boasts of having the most variety of cactus plants. Some cactus is as old as 60 years old!
The entrance fee is RM4 (about USD1) for adults and RM2 for children. There is no charge for cameras. They will probably also give discounts for older folks or for tour groups.

If you plan to visit the place, let me warn you first that the site is mainly terraced hill slopes. The ground is paved concrete, as are steps between terraces. Be careful when walking around as the steps can be uneven or a little high.
Apart from Cactus Valley, there is another place called Cactus Point. This is located opposite of Multicrops Central Market. It is not so big but nice exhibit of large specimens. Many varieties of cactus are grown here too.

If you like some of the cactus, you can buy them from the shop which also sells souvenirs, potted plants and dried flowers.
